Peeling Door
I used to walk past this door most mornings. It was on the other side of a picket fence and was the door of someone’s garden shed.
I love the incredible pattern left by the badly peeling paint revealing the old and weathered wood underneath. The underside of the peeling paint was silver and the early morning sun would catch it just right to create this scene of contrast, texture and pattern.
The shed was dismantled not long after I took this photo. I wonder if the owners ever noticed its hidden beauty.
